Gratitude is Love

gratitude-is-love

Throughout our lives, we are taught to love. Love is considered to be one of, if not the, highest power in the universe. It may be hard to comprehend, but not everyone knows or is able to identify the feelings associated with Love, which can be confusing when they are directed to act “out of love.”

It is my belief that the closest feeling that every human being on our planet has to Love, is Gratitude. We have all felt grateful for something, no matter what reality we live in, used to live in, etc. The intense feelings of being grateful emit such a powerful energy that to all whom gratitude is given, every action that transpires after receiving recognition is navigated by the incredible feelings one experienced from a sincere “thank you.”

Gratitude is Love.

Gratitude is the global gateway to understanding and feeling the same powerful energy that is emitted when one experiences feelings of Love. Where there is love, there is no room for anything contrary.

In my global gratitude initiative, I am pioneering the effort of teaching the world how to understand and use the power of gratitude to create ultimate lives that we love. I hope you’ll join me in my global endeavor by constantly giving love to all you meet and constantly giving thanks for all you have.

The time for happiness is NOW.

The time for joy is ALWAYS.

The time for you to create your ultimate life, has come. Join me! We’ll do it TOGETHER!

Ultimate Relationships with Gratitude

all_about_relationships

From the moment human beings are conceived, we are in relationships. It took a relationship of some kind in order for us to be conceived; we then form relationships with our birth parents or adopted parents; we then form friendships and spend most of our teen and adult lives seeking or perfecting life partnerships with that special someone. If it’s in the cards for us, we then take the parent role in new relationships with our own children and so on and so forth.

Relationships are what differentiate human beings from most animals. A lot of animals just mate to produce offspring and that’s all they do – whereas some human beings share those same qualities, many more are in the game for the fulfillment that comes with a human to human relationship.

The human beings who need human to human relationships are the ones who need to understand the power of Gratitude and its role in having ultimate relationships; which, pretty much means all of us.

We are all simultaneously engaged in multiple relationships. We have relationships with our families, friends and significant others. We have relationships with work colleagues, bosses and employees. We have relationships with our service providers, hairstylists, baristas and grocers.

Ponder this – if Gratitude was at the center of each relationship, how would each relationship look? How would they feel? Now, I’m not talking about implied gratitude where sincere thanks was not given but either party involved in the relationship just assumed the other party knew they were grateful for their doings. We all know what happens when we assume.

As you are reading this and you’re background thinking about the relationships you are currently part of, ones you were once part of and ones you may be part of in the future – I want you to consider how many relationships are actually centered in Gratitude.

Think of the relationships that were but are no longer. What happened? What changed? How did you feel toward the other people involved when the relationships first started? How did you feel about them after those relationships dissolved and how do you feel about them today?

Every relationship we are part of teaches us something and we must be diligent in our efforts to be selfless and vulnerable in order to see what each lesson was. In one relationship we may have learned to stand up for ourselves whereas in another we may have learned who isn’t worthy of our unique love that is meant for only one other person. Perhaps we learned that we are a lot stronger than we believed we were prior to being part of a relationship. Whatever the relationship, it is only through Gratitude that relationships will thrive.

The time for happiness is NOW.

The time for joy is ALWAYS.

The time for you to create your ultimate life, has come. Join me! We’ll do it TOGETHER!

It Starts with YOU

Hi!

I’ve been a little absent from blogging and for that, I apologize. I’ve been working on my book, I’ve been traveling, my nearest and dearest have been getting married and then there was a hurricane!

Before we get back into the frequency of blog posts, I am taking a break from writing my book this evening to give you a short and sweet thought to consider for your Sunday and every day thereafter.

I’m sure we’ve all heard, Do unto others as you would have done unto you.

I just want to clarify something with this directive – the action it refers to begins WITH YOU. It doesn’t say, When others do unto you, do unto them the same.

What we think about and thank about, we bring about. YOU start the action or the gesture for the desired outcome and it shall be done unto you.

That is all. I’ve missed you. I’ll be back with more in the coming days. For now, take ownership of your life and determine your ultimate direction!
